Picked up a 7.5 HP chop saw to make cutting billets a breeze. Current one is 5 HP, but it has a 10” disc vs the 16” on the new one, less disc changing is a good thing. 7.5 > 5

Had a great weekend of forging and laughing with friends at this past weekend. Pushed my metal manipulation limits by forging a hatchet from 6” of 1080 hex. Taught some integral forging too. Thanks for use of the forge and power hammer.

Got some time in the forge with a guest. They did a great job forging their first knife from a railroad spike.
