Macsson Makes creates custom, hand-crafted, personalized wooden gifts & more! We are in the beautiful small town of Auburn, Georgia.

Macsson Makes is a small business that creates custom, hand-crafted wooden gifts and more. After serving three tours in Iraq, Joey developed issues with his feet that required corrective surgery. Due to complications from the surgery years later, Joey started to have difficulties working outside the home. To help keep his mind right, Joey began woodworking, a hobby his grandfather and he shared. This hobby that turned into a passion saved Joey's life. After a few years of really looking into the future and what Joey and his wife want to do, Jennifer decided to step away from her full-time job to grow their business, be a stay-at-home Mom to their two boys, and learn more about homesteading. Joey puts a lot of research, time, and passion into every piece made. Patrons who have a taste for quality woodworking would agree that shopping local small business truly gets you the finest, built-to-last goods. In addition, Macsson Makes aims to have an environmental awareness for the community and chooses items that best represent their community. From types of birds to local community hobbies, each item we choose to create gets the attention to detail and care that big box stores cannot provide. Our goal is to make pieces that will last longer, be more environmentally friendly, and help make our community a better place to live and raise a family.

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU FROM MACSSON MAKES! ❤️

We just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to each and every one of our customers. Seriously. We wouldn’t be here without you. 🥹

Macsson Makes is a small, husband-and-wife business, built from a love of woodworking, craftsmanship, and creating things that mean something. It’s also a disabled-veteran-owned business, and every order means so much more to us than simply making a sale.

August has officially been our BIGGEST SELLING MONTH since we started making and selling our EGA displays in February! 🤯❤️

Behind every order is a person who chose to support our little business, and we don’t take that for granted for a second. We are truly blessed to be able to do what we do.

We’re juggling Macsson Makes between our two boys busy schedule, family, everyday life, and everything else that gets thrown at us, but every time an order comes through, we’re reminded why we started this in the first place. You have given a disabled Marine purpose again, and that means more than anything else.

So whether you’ve purchased from us, shared a post, recommended us to a friend, liked a photo, commented, or simply followed along — THANK YOU. ❤️

You are helping a small veteran-owned husband-and-wife business grow, and we are genuinely honored to have you along for the ride.

Now… back to the workshop. 🔨😅

From our family to yours — THANK YOU for supporting Macsson Makes!

Semper Fi. ❤️🇺🇸

They earned the title.

The EGA isn’t just something a Marine receives—it’s something a Marine earns.

Honor that achievement with an EGA Display, handcrafted from your choice of beautiful solid oak or walnut. Designed to hold the actual EGA earned at boot camp, this is more than a gift—it’s a lifelong reminder of the day they earned the title United States Marine.

-Personalized at no extra cost
-Designed to display the Eagle, Globe & Anchor, large or small, received at the EGA ceremony.
-A meaningful gift that will last a new Marine a lifetime
-FREE SHIPPING
-Handcrafted by a Marine Corps veteran who has been through it, earned the title, and understands the sacrifice, dedication, and commitment it takes to become a Marine.

Order now! Look for us on Etsy here:

Or search using “EGA display”.

From the day they stand on the parade deck and hear those words—“Congratulations, Marine”—to a lifetime of looking back on what they accomplished, this display keeps that moment alive.

They earned it. Give them something worthy of it.
