Millie was excited to redo this jacket she purchased from Modern Mix. She took in the sleeves & sides of the boxy looking jacket. She cut off the ruffled cuffs & used parts of them as trim on the sleeves. The edges of the cuffs were left to fray & complement the rest of the jacket. Great way to repurpose a jacket! Great project, Millie!!

Thank you Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild in Missouri Valley for inviting me to show many of my friends’ quilts & shop quilts at their meeting last evening. What a welcoming group of quilters! It was so good to hear about all of the members charitable projects that they are doing!! Quilters are truly the BEST! (The quilt shown is Cindy Miller’s Christmas quilt - 2 kits available) Sorry I didn’t get photos last night.

I just finished quilting Sue Hunt’s amazing quilt - when I was quilting it, it was hard to see a pattern but when I stepped away, a beautiful image was revealed!! Sue sewed hundreds of small squares together- Just amazing!!! Wonderful, Sue!!!
