Kathy & Rox show off Kathy’s granddaughter’s T-shirt quilt. Kathy’s granddaughter selected the fabrics & soft blue Moda Fireside backing. Rox put the t-shirt blocks together in a great arrangement! The quilt will eventually make its way to Kathy’s granddaughter in Paris!

This is the quilt completed with the blocks submitted at the Audubon County Fair Patriotic Block challenge contest. Roxane Hansen put the quilt top together with a great design. The shop donated the patriotic back with the Statue of Liberty design, the batting & the quilting. Rox then completed the project with the binding. Chris Jensen with the Fair plans to show the quilt at the Exira Fall Festival. Thanks again to everyone who contributed a block to the challenge contest!

Millie was excited to redo this jacket she purchased from Modern Mix. She took in the sleeves & sides of the boxy looking jacket. She cut off the ruffled cuffs & used parts of them as trim on the sleeves. The edges of the cuffs were left to fray & complement the rest of the jacket. Great way to repurpose a jacket! Great project, Millie!!
