We realized we never shared this Before & After paint consultation we did with A Cut Above Painting Co. earlier this year. A little change in color and lighting, and it makes a world of difference for this home’s curb appeal! One detail we believe is totally overlooked in most homes? Setting the table!

At Brit Nelson Interiors we firmly believe your "good china" needs to be proudly used, and the habit of setting the table is a great way to add a little beauty into your daily life. Placemats, fresh florals, printed napkins - there is so much fun to be had in the way you present a meal and makes the entire dining experience feel more elevated!

We recommend having two sets of dining wear: one that is lovely but also safe to pop in the dishwasher and a luxury china set for those special events. We know it’s not realistic for people to pull out “the good stuff” all the time, so don’t make the mistake of hiding all that beauty away in storage! Let’s add a little beauty just for the sake of it back into our lives!

We’ll share more photos of this project when it’s complete, but we could not wait to show you the progress we’ve made! This family needed a place to homeschool their kids and didn’t have the right space in their home to accommodate all their needs. So, we built it right into the attics! It was arduous in some ways and wonderful in others.
