Want to enter something into this year’s fair? Here is the link to all of our home & hobby contests. Please remember to read the rules for all contests as well.

Print out the entry form with your information and the proper category for your item(s). The fee is $5 per form. All entries must be post marked no later than July 17, 2026!!

If you can’t get it in the mail on time, no worries, just bring the form with you at drop off day. (Late fee of $7 per form will apply.)

This year the country will be celebrating its 250th anniversary! We are celebrating it with the following patriotic themed contests. 🇺🇸

Patriotic cupcake decorating contest on August 3rd (category 4081) - no fee 🧁

Red, White & Blue apron (category 4071)- for display only - no fee

And Patriotic Decorated Cookies (category 2024) had been added to the baking contest. 🍪

New Jersey State Fair Sussex County Farm and Horse Show

It’s that time of year again! 🎡🎠🎢🎟️

This year the fair will run from Friday July 31st until August 8, 2026.

Now is the time to think about and finalize your entries. All information on categories and rules can be found on our website www.njsfcahh.com.

Registration should be postmarked no later than July 17, 2026.

Craft and canning entries are due on Saturday July 25th from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM and Sunday July 26th from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 PM at the Richards Building (the big red building) on the fairgrounds.

If you do not get registered by mail, you can still enter your items. Just bring your entry in along with your entry form and you can register on the take in days. There is an additional charge for entries that are registered the day of take in.

Registration deadline for the Wine competition is July 1st.
