We taught them to sew… then set them free on the scrap fabric stash 😆

Tote bags, pillows, mittens, and SO much creativity later… we celebrated with Sewing Bingo, awards, and ice cream 🍦✨

After four days of learning, sewing, and creating, our campers completed their shorts and hit the runway! Watching them show off something they made with their own hands was the best celebration. So proud of this talented group! 🧵

Summer Sewing Camp Day 1 = Success! 🎉🧵

Today our campers learned how to measure, thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, sew, iron, and complete their very first project from scratch. Watching their confidence grow with every stitch is the best part. We can’t wait to see what they create next! ✨✂️

We’re building a welcoming space where we can sew together, share knowledge, connect with other creatives, and grow our sewing skills in a supportive studio environment.

During our Summer Sewing Camp weeks, Tailorbird Sewing Co.’s alteration service hours will temporarily change to 12 PM – 6 PM.

Adjusted hours will apply during:
• June 1–5
• June 15–19
• July 6–10
• July 13–17

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we host our summer sewing programs while continuing to serve our alteration clients.
