🤍 FLOWER FRIDAY — Wedding Edition

Sometimes, in this busy, crazy world, there is calm in the storm.

A year ago on Saturday, August 30th, the rain came… and the wedding went on just as planned. Makensie & Ryan stood firm in their love, made a few adjustments, opened some umbrellas, and trusted that even in the rain, their day would be beautiful.

Brent went along with me for setup, and yes—we got rained on while setting up the arch! But when it was finished, it was absolutely beautiful, and most importantly, our bride loved it. 🤍

As we moved inside to begin setting up the reception, everyone started gathering in to escape the rain. There were plenty of helping hands, lots of visiting, and everything came together just as it was supposed to.

And maybe that’s what made this wedding so special. It wasn’t about everything going perfectly according to plan. It was about embracing the moment. The simple, elegant and timeless details, the people who showed up to help, and two people who were ready to say I do—rain or shine.

✨ Sometimes the most beautiful moments come when we stop worrying about the storm and trust in the calm. That’s when we get to cherish the rainbow.
