I’m thrilled to share our completed, renovated Shiloh guest/powder bath! The house needed major foundation repair before we could even start, so this has been a long time coming and I couldn’t be happier with the end result for my awesome clients!

Since the bathroom is a little tight on space, we tried to maximize storage where possible, and picked up queues from Japandi style. I love how the floating vanity turned out and all the mood lighting! And how could you not love this whimsical wallpaper tying the whole space together. What a dramatic transformation!

Thankful we’re staying warm & cozy at home with this winter weather, dreaming in shades of Blue… 💭❄️💙🛋️

Blue is soothing, peaceful, tranquil, and calm. It is the perfect pop of color for home interiors. It can go in so many directions, & yet you never get tired of it. It also plays so well with warm wood tones, saddles leathers, & brass metals to give it just the right amount of cozy warmth.

There are so many variations, from electric teal & aqua blues with green undertones to remind you of the ocean, to calming sky & baby blues to help you feel serene & captivate a sense of comfort and security, to more unusual periwinkles & lavenders with purple undertones that are a bit more playful and whimsy. Or even dark & moody with royals and navy blues. The sky’s the limit 😉

Inspirational interior spaces to me invoke a captivating feeling as soon as you walk in. The materials, patterns, forms, and textures delight the senses. The composition is curated, sophisticated, and established, and you know you’re stepping into a beautiful space that was created like no other, it moves you. Yet there is also a restraint from too much business, keeping things clean & simple but yet interesting is much harder. You have to find that perfect balance of harmony.

Nature continues to inspire & take my breath away, the more I can point to Gods naturally beautiful creations in the home, the more I feel like I’m doing my job well. That’s why stone slabs are such beautiful one-of-a-kind creations to me.

These blues have me all in my feels. 🥰 Many thanks to these talented designers that continue to inspire.

I know you’re stuck at home just dreaming of your perfect space, let’s get started! 💙

2023 Design Trends | JW Design

Design trends come and go. While I’m a big believer in timeless home design, there is something to be said about adding in trends to enhance our rapidly changing lives. Plus, honestly, what we consider to be “timeless” is often shifted by current and past trends.

Whether you are designing a new home, renovating your existing home, or just want to make some small tweaks to your space, it’s always good to be on top of the latest interior design trends!

We’ve been noticing a steady climb towards more bold, colorful, curvy, & warm interiors; Including a push for our current + collective desire for comfort & security in light the of the pandemic.

Clean, white-walled minimalism continues to take a step back to moody color palettes, printed wallpaper, cozy textures, curvy shapes, and natural materials, with modern-traditional design making a slow yet steady comeback.

These design trends are what we think are here for it or making a new splash in 2023! Which one do you love or can’t stand?! Lmk in the comments! Or if your interested in making a change towards your dreamy home space, DM me!
