Trimming your candle wick is not optional

For a cleaner burn always trim your wick 1/4 inch before lighting.

This helps prevent excess soot, keeps your flames controlled and allows your candle to burn more evenly.

A wick that is not trimmed can create a taller flame, which leads to faster burn time, uneven wax melt and can become a safety risk.
