So cliché to say, but also so true: I can’t believe this is the same space! It’s so special to see a space that has been so thoughtfully designed and loved captured so beautifully. The transformation shifted the feeling of our home in every way and it’s become a beautiful backdrop to our lives. This was achieved by layering architectural elements, various textures and wood tones, vintage and antique pieces, multiple layers of lighting and our very favorite pieces acquired from travel (and a few trips to Round Top if I’m being honest).

The bones of this dining room were good, but it lacked dimension and warmth. Through new lighting, furniture, and custom drapery, we brought in the interest and warmth this family needed to truly enjoy the space!

We’re calling it “the lounge,” and that’s exactly what we hope it becomes for a very deserving client.

To set the lounge vibe in here we arranged furniture for conversation having all seats face each other, multiple layers of soft lighting, a spot next to every chair to set a drink, organic shaped furniture, and a plush rug underfoot that ties it all together.

Our absolute favorite is the lacquered walls. It almost feels like the entire room is wrapped in a mirror, ceiling included, and we’re obsessed. It’s not the easiest finish to get right, but really knew what they were doing!

This tile-in zellige sink was no joke to create! We searched for inspiration images, but couldn’t find any so really it was a matter of sketching, mathing and essentially playing around with hardy board and titles to get it right! Having contractors that are game to try is gold! We are obsessed with this color, palette, and the mix of materials and styles here at the beautiful wine bar!

One of our favorite moments in this guest bath is the full tile surround. It’s not only expansive and beautiful, but also so durable and easy to wipe down. Can’t believe how far this bathroom has come!

Hope your weekend involves a coffee bar/bar this pretty!

Hi friends, we thought it was time for a little re-introduction. We’re a mother/daughter design team who feel incredibly grateful to wake up every day and do what we love. Creating spaces that feel beautiful, lived-in, and personal is such a joy, and getting to do it together makes it even better.

Matching bedroom set? Never heard of her! We really leaned into a curated, layered and textured look
and feel for this bedroom. The grass cloth paper on the walls is so enveloping.

About half of what you see is vintage; the rug from Turkey, nightstands were a MP find and sanded down, small chair is an Indian ceremonial chair (again from MP), and the floor lamp is a beautiful patinated solid brass scored at a flea market.

We did some pattern mixing with the thin stripes on the velvet curtain panels, a block print on the bed coverlet, muted floral print in the rug, and some whimsy with the art.

This primary bathroom sat untouched for nearly 30 years, the cabinets were coming off the hinges, fluorescent lighting was buzzing, cultured countertops were stained, and the list goes on. The shower, a whopping 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 and oddly everyone’s favorite because it’s so cozy, had a 4 x 4 white tile that we kept because, well, everything old becomes new again! It was in good shape, but we did replace the trim pieces with marble and that was all the updating it needed. We combined warm, polished nickel plumbing with antique brass cabinet hardware and lighting for interest. I’m all for lighting that doubles as sculptural art and the travertine sconce did just that! The stone is a bit of a departure from what we would normally use but the second I saw that slab I knew it was meant for this bathroom! My absolute favorite detail? The way the wood is wrapped (without trim) in the medicine cabinet niches.
