Project: Tulum Minimalism
Scope: Kitchen refresh

Our client likes a minimal palette, with a hint of masculine elements. The overall goal is to design a space that reminds him of the chill relaxed vibe of Tulum which he loves.

Welcome to Casa Sisu, a new Scandinavian-inspired interior design studio based in Austin, Texas.

We are committed to creating thoughtful spaces that are not only visually stunning but also improve our clients’ daily lives and overall well-being. Our designers’ diverse backgrounds make us extremely well prepared to take on a large range of projects, from small bathroom remodels to multi-million-dollar new builds.

You might be wondering about our name. Sisu (pronounced see-sue) is a Finnish word that lacks a direct translation in English, but it can be summed up as steadfast determination even in times of extreme adversity. It’s a deep-rooted drive to overcome any challenge. We paired this word with “casa” not just because it’s fun to say; it’s also a representation of our unflinching dedication to solving the challenges our clients experience within their homes.

We can’t wait to take you on our journey as we beautify homes throughout the Austin area and form meaningful partnerships with clients, artisans, and local vendors.
