It’s Taco Tuesday, and today I made one of my absolute favorite tacos of the year—Mexican Street Corn Chicken Tacos on the Blackstone! 🌮🔥

Juicy marinated chicken, creamy street corn, cotija cheese, avocado, cilantro… every bite is packed with flavor. Easily one of the best tacos I’ve ever made.

All season long, this incredible band dad went above and beyond — showing up early, tightening bolts, painting props, loading trucks, pushing equipment, and even helping me cook for 180 hungry band kids. He was there every time, ready to help with anything.

So this Christmas, I wanted to thank him properly… with a Blackstone 36” Ironforge Griddle. ❤️🔥
Because someone who puts in that much heart deserves something built just as solid.

This Christmas, I wanted to share something special.

All season long, there was one band dad who went absolutely above and beyond. He showed up early — often before I did — ready to help with anything we needed. Painting props, tightening bolts, loading and unloading trucks, pushing the biggest props on and off the field… he was always there, no matter how early or how late.

Since I was the one in charge of props this year, his help was honestly a lifesaver. And on top of all that, he jumped in when I cooked for all 180 band members at competitions. He never asked for recognition — he just showed up and worked hard because he cared about the kids.

So this Christmas, I wanted to show my appreciation in a meaningful way. I surprised him with a 36-inch Blackstone Ironforge Griddle — something built solid, just like the effort he put in all season long.

Huge shoutout to Blackstone Products for making gear that brings people together. ❤️🔥

I brought the Blackstone griddle to the UT tailgate again — but this time, we went full hibachi-style! Fried rice, grilled veggies, and juicy chicken cooked fresh in batches all morning so everyone got a hot, delicious meal.

Perfect way to switch up your tailgate menu and feed a big crowd!
