One year ago today, Central Texas lost precious lives. In the year since, a community has come together to grieve, to love, and to offer comfort where words fall short.

From Chunky Knit Corner and Angels of Comfort Mission, we honor and remember every life lost in the Central Texas flash floods on July 4th, 2025. We hold every family close in prayer, today and always.

In the months since, hands from across the US and Canada have come together in quiet, steady love, each stitch a prayer, each angel made to say, you are not alone.

Angels have been lovingly created in memory of the lives lost. If this is for your family or a family you know, you're invited to fill out the form below, and an angel will be lovingly sent to you. Just popping in with a little life update... ❤️

It's been almost 3 months since I've really been active on social media, and I wanted to let you know why.

I've been navigating a recent rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis (along with a few other health conditions), which meant I had to step away from hand knitting to focus on healing.

Today also happens to be my birthday 🥹🎉, and I wanted to thank you all for the prayers, messages, and support you've shown me during this season. It has meant more than you know.

Why do I get pattern testers before launching? 🤍

Because I want my patterns tested by people with different handknit / fingerknit experience levels. It helps me polish the pattern and video tutorial to the best they can be before launch. I want to put out high-quality products and make sure every pattern has been carefully checked and tested beforehand.

It’s truly an extra step I choose to take. Extra time, extra work, and extra days of waiting before launch but it is always worth it to me.

I would rather take more time and extra steps if it means giving you a quality product that you can confidently enjoy and follow along with. 🩷

So to all my testers who have tested for me, my future testers, and especially my Oshie the Axolotl testers… thank you so much!
