This week's Ask Me Anything answers the question we hear most: what does a moss wall actually cost?
The honest answer is that it depends on the style. We build three types of preserved moss walls, and the price follows how much hand work each one takes.
🌿 Wild, $310 per square foot installed. Loose and natural, like a piece of forest floor brought indoors. Pillow, mood and fern moss with branches, stones and ferns worked in.
🌿 Hybrid, $350 per square foot installed. The texture of Wild with a shape, band or second color designed through it. A great fit for framing a logo.
🌿 Structured, $425 per square foot installed. Dense, sculpted reindeer moss set by hand, piece by piece. It's the most labor intensive wall we make, which is what makes it so striking.
Custom projects start at $15,000. Every wall is designed and built in Austin, Texas, then installed by our team or one of our trusted installation partners across the country. Once it's up, there's no watering, no light and no upkeep.
