We snapped a rare photo of Mary Cowger (aka Moss Mama) thriving in her natural habitat here in Austin yesterday!

Scientists say approaching too quickly may result in spontaneous plant adoption, unsolicited moss facts, and an overwhelming desire to redesign your office into a forest sanctuary. We can confirm all of the above.

We partnered with for a renovation at St. David Foundation and transformed these spaces into something stunning and definitely intentional 🌿

A 30-foot moss planter under the stairway and custom moss detailing along the breakroom banquette turn transitional areas into moments people actually feel.

This is the power of biophilic design when it’s done right.

There are easier ways to spend your week than hand-placing thousands of pieces of real moss...We just don’t know any better ones!

This custom moss wall is headed to Trimbuilt Construction, Inc. here in Texas- a construction company that actually builds things right… so naturally, we had to keep up.

Mary Cowger’s in the shop dialing it in (power tool in one hand, moss in the other… as one does), and in a few days this wall will be doing what good design should: Quietly changing how a space feels the second you walk in.

No maintenance. No watering. No “who forgot to take care of the plants?”

Just a little more nature where you wouldn’t expect it.
