I built this house for myself in Nashville, fully convinced it was going to be home. Plot twist: Austin won my heart before I ever got to live in it.
But man, she was pretty. And this little bunk room still gets me. 🤍
Some houses you live in. Some you just get really lucky to create.

She said she’d “pick the art later.”
I heard: bring the art on photoshoot day and hang it anyway.
She was very sure art wasn’t going to carry that much weight in the room. I was very sure these two pieces belonged exactly where they are.
They went up. They never came down.
And the real plot twist? She’s now on her own little original art journey, buying pieces without me.
I converted one. My work here is done.
