The shop will be open one last time before we are closed! Come visit and buy goodies. There is still plenty of fabric, notions, books/patterns and other goodies! Feel free to share this with friends!! Here are some of the dets to remember when you visit:

♥ ADDY: 1604 RIO GRANDE STREET #100 - The south entrance of the grey stucco house.
♥ HOURS: Tues (10/26) and Wed (10/27) 11am - 7pm
♥ PARKING: Parking will be street parking only. The Bunny parking lot is for the friends (aka staff) I have coming to work the open house and the rest of the lot belongs to the other building tenants. I will have tons of coins if you need cash to pay the meter - ask as soon as you walk in and we will hand over coins. The meter thingy will take credit cards or you can use the Park ATX app on your phone to pay. There is always tons of parking along the streets. I easily park my suburban whenever needed.
♥ DISCOUNT: Everything in the shop will be 50% off with an extra 10% off for CASH payment. I still have tons of inventory that is ready for a new home!
♥ COVID PRECAUTIONS: Everyone must wear a mask at all times in the shop. Please be aware of your surroundings and crafty neighbors as you shop. My goal is to have two cutting areas to help with flow thru the shop. I have tried to spread merchandise around the entire shop to assist with spacing.
♥ I look forward to seeing each and every one of you to help fill this little space with love, laughter and friendship one last time

In-person shopping is available this weekend!

I have opened up my retail shop for 1.5hr in-person appointments Sat, Aug 21- Mon, Aug 23. Click the book now button in my IG profile or go to linktr.ee/bunnysdesigns to access the scheduling system. The online store will be inactive for the next three days to ensure I don't oversell products. The appts are 1.5 hr slots for you plus 3 additional humans. I am requiring EVERYONE to wear masks over your nose and mouth. Please cancel your appt if you are feeling sick or unable to wear a mask. Hope to see lots of yall these next two days... also I have a surprise human helping me this weekend that can't wait to see everyone.

I have been trying to find the words to navigate this next chapter in life. It is with lots of emotion that I am announcing Bunny's Designs is closing after 14 years.

The journey over the years has been amazing and I have met so many incredible people. I have learned so much about fabric, running a business and the world of Japan and even met my husband in the process. I am so thankful for each of you for your support, love, creative energy and friendship over the years that made my small business a huge success.

Looking forward, I am not sure what might be ahead for me personally or business related. I have put so much of my life, love and energy into this space and our community. I am looking forward to working on myself again and focusing on my family. Thankfully, Marc and my kids are able to give me the space/time to process everything. I know that I would love to take people to Japan. I know that I am forever a lover of Japanese fabrics and can't rule out future endeavours. I know that I will need to get a job (so pass along any ideas). I know this is not the end but a new beginning.

I ask for continued support and help thru the next few months. I will not be doing a liquidation sale - this shop has been my life for 14 years and many years of me reinvesting in it so I can really use as much financial return as possible. If you want to shop, please go to www.bunnysdesigns.com instead of etsy (no etsy fees on my website). Please tells others about the shop closing. Sale codes will be emailed in my newsletter so signup: linktr.ee/bunnysdesigns The sale will begin July 14th (at 10% off) with dets in the next newsletter. As of July 7, 2021, I will no longer be doing $4 flat rate shipping or other discounts. The retail space we use will be sold at the end of August but I am hoping to have thru September. I am not offering in-person shopping due to having the online shop updated but will announce if that changes. I anticipate it will take me up to 3-4 weeks to ship orders.

Currently stalking my awesome mail woman, Andrea. She takes all your goodies and I am so thankful for her. So while I have a split min to give everyone an update on lots of shop things. First off, THANK YOU for all the amazing orders. It means the world to me, my family and the livelihood of my shop!
SHIPPING: I am still shipping Mon-Fri and try to ship same day or next day... my queue has been long so it is taking me about 48-72 hrs to get your orders out. I will work thru the weekend to hopefully get those times back down. USPS First class mail is taking longer than normal so I am trying to minimize the impact on your orders by getting them out as quickly as I can.
INVENTORY: I am not a pushy sales person and end up convincing people not to get fabric. I know... not the best business plan. Anyways, I worked a retail job thru college and we had to push for add-on sales everytime. I swore I would never run a shop like that. So with that info... when you see fabrics you want in my shop, please buy it and the qty that will work for you. Japanese fabrics cannot be reordered - they don't reprint their designs and we are a season behind Japan so what i get is what i get. I have had so many people in the last two weeks incredibly sad they missed out on a print. Lastly, Lecien is no longer producing fabric so anything in the shop Lecien is it for my inventory. The memoire a paris lawns and solids make me the saddest.
NEW AND SOLD-OUT INVENTORY: I have fabrics that are currently sold out online but there is still some on the bolt so I will update those (some of the cat, dog and traditional prints). This will be done over the weekend and next Monday so keep an eye out. I also have about 50+ new prints to add and that will be listed mid-week. I cannot do holds, custom listings or answer what I still have available. I don't have help right now so I am a one person show. Heather Ross' anniversary collection coming in this month and I am so freaking excited. MESSAGES: I am super behind on messages so if you are needing something, please be patient. ❤🧡💛💚💙 So I think that is all I can think of right now. Yall have an amazing weekend & sew on! Back to cutting orders!

Also a quick update on shipping... I actually took off the entire weekend but it means the queue stacked up. I ship Mon-Fri and normally can get orders out same business day or next business day but because I took the weekend complete off... I am running a day or two behind. Please be patient while I work to get everyone's orders out. ❤
