The Ferguson Home showroom grand opening was nothing short of fabulous. Every detail was thoughtfully executed - from the beautifully curated showroom itself to the warmth and elegance of the event experience (I think we did well dressing for the western theme ✨).

I had the honor of sitting down with the incomparable Shannon Reid to discuss innovation in design, the importance of relationship building, and the future of creating spaces that truly inspire. I also had the opportunity to share more about , a project that is incredibly near and dear to my heart.

I’m deeply appreciative of the supportive partnership and genuine friendship we’ve built with the Ferguson team. Evenings like this are such a meaningful reminder that the best collaborations are rooted in connection, creativity, and community.

Congratulations to the entire Ferguson Home team on such a stunning and memorable evening.

Recently, I’ve had the honor of sitting on several panels discussing wellness and design, and the more I reflect on it, the more I believe wellness in design is really about creating spaces that support the way people truly live.

It’s not about trends or perfection. It’s about designing for people in a way that feels grounding, restorative, and deeply personal. Spaces should invite calm, connection, ease, and a sense of belonging.

At , that philosophy has shaped so much of our approach. We’ve intentionally layered in elements of biophilic design from natural plaster walls and marble countertops to warm wood tones and organic materials that bring a sense of nature indoors. The goal is always to create environments that not only look beautiful, but feel beautiful to live in.

To me, wellness design is ultimately about creating homes that nourish people emotionally as much as they do functionally.

What was once a small powder bath just off the entry was thoughtfully reimagined into a private mother in law suite designed to feel both beautiful and welcoming.

Every inch was considered with intention- balancing function, comfort, and timeless design to create a space that feels seamlessly connected to the home while still offering a sense of retreat and independence.

Transformations like this are such a reminder that great design isn’t always about adding more space, but about rethinking how a home can better support the people living in it.

This builder-grade bathroom had all the basics, but none of the warmth, character, or sense of escape. The goal was to create a space that felt calming, elevated, and quietly luxurious without overwhelming the footprint.

We traded cold finishes for warm neutrals, layered lighting, rich textures, and statement tile that instantly transformed the room. A textured feature tile added just the right hint of luxury and depth, while matte fixtures and natural accents softened the overall feel. The updated vanity brought in a more custom, grounded look that made the space feel timeless instead of trendy.

Now, every detail works together to turn an ordinary condo bathroom into a boutique hotel-style experience at home.

This dining room was all about layering beauty with function. We introduced much needed built in storage to keep everything within reach while maintaining a clean, intentional feel.

The existing solid oak hardwood floors were refinished to bring warmth back into the space, setting the foundation for everything else to shine. We then wrapped the walls in a stunning natural fiber wallpaper, adding depth, texture, and a quiet sophistication that shifts beautifully with the light.

We paired new dining chairs with the client’s existing table, giving it a fresh, updated presence while honoring what they already loved. And overhead, a sculptural new fixture brings just the right amount of drama and glow.

A perfect balance of old and new, thoughtful, functional, and effortlessly inviting.

A quiet in-between space, made meaningful

This hallway was designed to connect the main home to the mother-in-law suite—but it’s become so much more than a pass-through. It’s a pause. A moment.

Layered with pieces passed down through generations and artwork created by our client, every detail carries a story. The warmth of the wood, the softness of the light, the history in each object—it all comes together to create something deeply personal and grounding.

Proof that even the smallest spaces can hold the most meaning.

This bathroom is proof that small spaces can still feel elevated and serene. The muted teal vanity and blue shower tile adds just the right pop of color, while the brass fixtures bring in a touch of warmth and sophistication. Paired with crisp white surfaces and subtle geometric details, it’s a perfect balance of modern and timeless.

Sometimes, it’s the little details that make the biggest statement.
