River Place Student Theatre We are a non-profit organization run by volunteers striving to enrich the lives of young children through the art of theatre.

We are a non-profit organization whose purpose is to enrich the lives of young children in our community through the art of theatre. We are a group of volunteers who are dedicated to building a theatre community, which teaches River Place Elementary Student Theater Cast Members the elements of theatre including singing, acting, dancing, theatre production and theatre makeup. Only thru Parent Volun

teer hours are we able to put on such elaborate major plays. Parents play a vital role in helping with the production from costumes, set designs, props to helping run the lighting, sound and backstage crew assistance. We are currently in our 15th year providing Theatre opportunities for students of River Place community.

Our very own Vandy Theatre Company is wrapping up the year with the amazing Into the Woods show, which is geared towards littles (on 5/9!) Lots of characters from the favorite fairy tales! If you get your ticket now, your little one can go to the Woodland picnic which happens in between shows: the kids will have the chance to meet the characters up close, being told their personal stories, ask questions, get pictures and autographs all while enjoying a picnic on stage! The students worked so hard to make this picnic special and magical, it’s all student-led and so much fun. Please show up and support our Vandegrift theatre kids!
