A hardworking but beautiful sunlit Family room from our Southill project… Hidden in this cabinetry are lots of toys and games. Texas TV’s are so large it can be challenging to incorporate them in a handsome way. A smaller table is found on the opposite side of the room that can be used for snacks or puzzles or homework. We love all the combination of materials used here: Belgian bluestone floors, a stained fir ceiling, oak and bronze cabinetry, steel windows with natural abaca shades. ☀️

So cool to wake up and see my name in this weekend’s The Wall Street Journal Mansion section! A fun project in Spicewood Texas that we finished a few years ago…
Thank you to my sweet clients who trusted us not once but twice to design a second home for them, and took the time to speak to the The Wall Street Journal with me. And many thanks to Jenny Bradley Pfeffer for the introduction and the talented ryann ford for the beautiful photos. ❤️💙

A rendering of the Primary Bathroom in our Modern Mediterranean project.

Antiqued limestone floors, plaster walls, reclaimed beams, zellige tile, and unlacqered brass come together to create a warm palette. We especially love the juxtaposition between the patinated bronze tub and the soft, sheer drapery. We can’t wait to see this one come to life!

It has been a crazy busy year thus far.... All of us at GREER hope that wherever you find yourself today, you are able to relax and bit and hopefully enjoy some good weather and company.

These photos are of our Spicewood lakehouse project, a great place to soak up some sun and enjoy a little Texas barbeque.

As seen in : A Warm and Textural Take on Modern Austin Living

It can be challenging to add soul and patina to new construction projects, especially in Texas where room sizes can be quite large and feel a bit overwhelming. We were very cognizant of adding warmth by incorporating wood finishes and live metals—and sprinkling in vintage lighting and furniture pieces in each room to add charm and patina.
