This one started as a plain white room with a burgundy pool table…and not a whole lot else.

We leaned into the color instead of fighting it, drenched the billiard room in blue, added custom built-ins and a custom banquette upholstered in a beautiful fabric with maroon leather piping to tie back to the pool table.

Then, after searching and searching, we found the perfect antique European door in the exact size we needed to separate the coziest little movie room.

We gave these rooms a reason to stay. To chat. To cozy up and connect, and we couldn’t be happier with the transformation.

One of our favorite projects completed this summer! 💙

Just sold. 🤍 A magical Round Top property in the heart of the Texas Hill Country has officially found its new owner, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have been part of its story.

We had the joy of designing two of its spaces: a Spanish-inspired outdoor kitchen for enjoying those magical golden-hour dinners under the Texas sky, and a reimagined speakeasy, a moody emerald hideaway of velvet, brass, and one very unexpected tractor, into the home’s most-loved room. So many of the pieces throughout were sourced right down the road at the Round Top Antiques Market, giving every room a story and a sense of place you just can’t buy new. But the best part wasn’t the design at all. Somewhere between the drawings and the dinners, we became close with the owner, and were lucky enough to be invited back to stay during the . It’s a magical place we’ll always treasure.

Thank you for trusting us with two of your favorite spaces.

We’ll miss this one dearly. ✨ A. Walker Designs

Say hello to our newest team member! 🎉 We’re so excited to welcome Makenna to the team this summer. Straight from Baylor University and eager to dive in. We’re so excited to have her with us this summer! We asked her a few questions so you could get to know her!

🐻 Favorite Waco spot?
“Cameron Park” Adding it to our Waco bucket list!

💼 What are you most excited to learn this summer?
“The full client process, from the very first meeting all the way through installation.”

🐢 Fun fact that might surprise us?
“I have a pet turtle named Richard!” Honestly, Richard deserves his own tag. We can’t meet to meet her pet turtle.

We already know this is going to be an amazing summer. Welcome aboard, Makenna!

Florals, curves, lacquer and trim. Four obsessions confirmed at High Point Spring 2026.

Florals are bold and unapologetic. Curves are softening every silhouette. Lacquer is having a serious moment. And trim is the finishing detail that elevates everything it touches.

This season delivered on every level. Rechargeable lighting, sconces, lamps, vintage, artisan, picture lights and the beautiful pleated shades. We left inspired, a little overwhelmed, but mostly inspired. 🤩

For our Dallas client, a once blank canvas is now a fully immersive teen hangout… layered in blue from wall to wall, anchored by custom built ins, a tailored ottoman, and a reimagined wine bar.

Proof that color changes everything. 😍

Last call for Round Top magic ✨
We stopped by our friend Christi’s booth in Blue Hills (Barn E) and it’s too good not to share 💛
Go give her some love before it’s gone!

POV: It’s business in the front… garden party in the back. 🌿

These custom designed and built counter stools were created for our client who wanted something truly special. With a creamy buttery leather in the front and Trebah Velvet by on the back, we think we nailed it!

Inspired by the subtropical beauty of Trebah Gardens in Cornwall, hand painted blooms, wild grasses, and poppies quietly steal the spotlight.
