Let’s talk about art ba-beee.... so many clients seeking to add to their collections that I decided to do a life hack series on some of my favorite artists. My list is really long and varied but we are starting with landscapes because they tend to be the most versatile and “safe” investments for the home. Most people in fact will start with the humble landscape and then branch out into mixed media or still life and move onto impressionistic art scattered with some portraits. We are building the list as such. Most of the artists we will discuss over the coming weeks are those I have personally commissioned for clients, collected myself, or are on my wish list. And while we won’t really discuss how to hang or get started, I am always open to questions you might have about something I love so much. Art is personal and I encourage my clients to buy what they love and leave it to us to figure out how to make it work. Sometimes we walk into collections which drive the interiors but oftentimes we help put the finishing touches with new acquisitions. Bottom line it’s as important as pillows.
This is a snapshot of an all time favorite we are talking about this week . I can tell you I have left the gallery mentally drawing up interiors around his work. There are few works to sum up his use of light, color, composition and stroke. Enjoy this fun little escape. Link in bio.
