We'll be closed Thursday, July 2nd, through Monday, July 6th for the 4th of July holiday.

This holiday is one of our favorites, spending time with family and friends, good food, and maybe a few fireworks along the way. We hope your holiday is filled with all of that and more.

These three pieces all have one thing in common, they were all made by beginners in our studio. We love the beautiful, textured floral suncatchers, a strip construction bowl that uses the variegated elements of streaky glass, and the simple but elegant design of the hankercheif bowl.

No filter. No color correction. No tricks.

You're seeing with this opaline dot bowl and what opaline glass does in real life. Depending on the angle and the light, the glass shifts from warm amber tones to a cool blue-white through a phenomenon called the Tyndall effect. It's the same optical science that makes the sky blue.

It's one of the reasons we love working with this type of glass.
