One Day Pop-up Pate De Verre class with Linda Ethier! What?!

This is for all y'all who couldn't join Linda's 5-day class this week. We couldn't let her leave without sharing more of the fun (and her pate de verre knowledge!)!

This Saturday ONLY, you'll make one of Linda's signature pate de verre bowls that'll be ready for pick up the next day! Linda will do a demo on mold-making. We'll have pre-prepped molds for you to use. You get to bring your individual creativity in color and imagery, if you dare, to the Pate De Verre process!

Create incredible designs by harnessing the liquid effects of glass in our High Fire class. Techniques covered in this class all occur above 1600*F! You’ll be setting up pot drops, boiling glass, creating thick slabs, and as a final project combing glass!

If you've ever wanted to explore pate de verre and expand your sculptural practice, this is the master class for you!

Linda will guide you step-by-step, using clay to create original, 3-dimensional sculptures or vessels to be cast into glass. Projects will include both low-fire and high-fire casting techniques, making color and texture samples, building a multiple-part refractory mold, packing the molds with glass colors based on the samples, firing, and finishing the projects.

You'll leave with two finished projects and a set of color samples!
