Our new L O Q U A T S fabric is inspired by the loquat trees outside my window. After being dormant for years due to harsh phrases, they finally offered big lush and perfectly shaped.

Found in the leafy streets of Austin’s older neighborhoods, the loquat tree is both generous and striking, offering much welcomed shade, sculptural foliage, and golden fruit.

My new textile collection is called Rooted - a name that reflects exactly how I feel right now. I’m openly sharing my values with this launch because that’s what I believe we are called to do. Some people have chosen to leave because they don’t share those values, and that’s ok.⁣⁣

This collection draws from the resilience of nature and the human spirit. It features the Loquat, blooming again after years of harsh freezes; Bamboo, a timeless emblem of strength and flexibility, and the nostalgic Posey. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The final design, Crossroads, uses intersecting lines to celebrate the paths that shape our journeys. It is a hopeful reminder that the crossroads we face today as individuals and as a country - can lead us toward a brighter tomorrow.

Thanks to gentle rains and cooler summer weather, our field-like front yard is growing wild!

The landscape was the first thing that drew us to this house. The surrounding trees and lush textures bring a sense of peacefulness and well-being, as well as keeping things several degrees cooler in the hottest months.

Our Mayfield design (named for a nearby park), evokes this connection to nature - in the Moss colorway, a room feels like it is part of the landscape, with the rhythms of nature and atmosphere of comfort and relaxation.
