Allison Jaffe Interior Design AWARD WINNING AUSTIN INTERIOR DESIGN
AUSTIN, TEXAS

Where smart interior design combines imaginatio When there’s paperwork to fill out, she does so promptly.

In every project, Allison’s design philosophy adheres to the same guiding principles. Collaboration
Allison’s expertise is in taking her clients’ unique ideas and needs and turning them into concrete plan that a contractor can actually work with -- and that the client will love, too. She is a design guide, drawing from her client’s culture, passions and life experiences to create a space that does far more than meet functional requirements. Rather, the finished project is an expression of the client’s personality and deepest values. From the first meeting to the last, Allison’s design process is every bit a collaborative effort to create her clients’ vision of their ideal space. Integrity
With Allison, it’s simple: when clients call, she calls back. Allison is more than a creative; she is a solid, business-oriented person who doesn’t get lost in the details. She is a communicator, and is entirely fluid in contractor-ese, so there is no room for misinterpretation in a contractor’s execution of a design. Clients trust her and her team implicitly from day one to handle the many organizational complexities of a remodel, renovation, or new construction project. Smart Design
Possessing a unique grasp of both form and function, Allison begins her design process by thinking about how her clients will use their redesigned space. Storage, flow, and lighting requirements -- all of these come first as Allison sets the scope of the project, creates demo plans, and considers the potential and limitations of the existing floor plans. In this way, working with Allison is like engaging an architect, with a talented design eye that will help her clients fully embrace -- and enjoy -- the process. At Allison Jaffe Interior design, imagination and practicality combine for unparalleled results. Allison Jaffe holds a Bachelor’s of Science from University of Pittsburgh in Neuropsychology and graduated Magna Cum Laude in Interior Design from Texas State University. She is a Texas Registered Interior Designer ( #11034) and a Professional Member of the American Society for Interior Designers (ASID). Her accolades include twelve prestigious awards in residential design and an Austin Under 40 award. In addition to her dedication to interior design, Allison is an active member of the Austin community and plays a strong role in fundraising and leadership.

As much as we love designing for our clients, there is something special about a project with no brief and no boundaries.

This bathroom was designed for an investor’s spec home who handed us full creative freedom and simply let us create.

When it comes to trends, I find myself always late in the game.

Not because I don’t want to be fashionable or in the know but because I feel that leaving a lasting mark on this world means more to me than something that’s fleeting.

I’d rather design a space that is either classic in nature and can stand the test of time.

Timelessness is a value I stand behind and what I’ve built this company around. So if you’re changing a trend, we’re not for you.

But if you want your investment and home to play the long game, we’re happy to be your teammate.

Some houses are built for showing off. This one was built for staying late. Nestled in the heart of Tarrytown, our Warren project was designed around one idea: a place for gathering with friends.

The kitchen opens to the yard, the island seats whoever shows up, and the whole room feels warm enough that nobody checks the time.

That bargain sofa is going to cost you more than the expensive one. You just won’t see the bill right away.

I see it all the time. It looks great in the photo, it shows up fast, and for a few months it feels like you won. Then the cushions flatten, the frame starts to creak, and the spot where everyone sits becomes the spot nobody wants to sit. Suddenly the room you loved feels tired, and you’re shopping again.

Your sofa is the hardest working piece in your house. It holds movie nights, naps, kids, dogs, and every conversation that matters. When it’s built right, you stop thinking about it and just live. That’s the whole point.

Buy it once. Buy it well.

This home designed for one of our bachelor SINKs is located in the heart of central Austin. The bones of the house, along with its unique and charming features were an important factor to design around. We love the pairing of old meets new.

We’ve been pretty fortunate to have some clients who want to go bold with their dining room wall as a main focal point.

We designed for them these custom murals and it truly is striking. When creating a bold statement in a room like this, keeping the furniture simple allows mural to take center stage.
