One of my favorite things is working with young couples who have just bought their 1st house.

I am such a “mom” that I just want everyone to be happy. I want them to get exactly what they want for their house and be in their budget. I love being in control of my margins where I can make a difference in somebody’s life as a gift to them.
Young people remind me of my own son and his fiancé…..

I get tears in my eyes just thinking about these people starting their lives, in their home and their families. It’s just a beautiful thing.💕

Demo done… my Installer called me back out to take a look at the job. This bathroom was remodeled by a contractor out in Georgetown. Who’s very popular and does a lot of remodels. There was no waterproofing underneath that shower pan, their whole entire bathroom concrete was soaking wet.

It’s a shame. I came from Arizona, where we had the register of contractors if we did things like its done in Texas we would be out of business. I definitely have a higher caliber of work ethic and make sure things are done right. Texas is the wild wild West you just don’t know what you’re getting until you tear it out.

Pretty good Haul from Readers Showcase flooring market…. Saw some great new products. Took a couple product knowledge classes. I love continuing education in my industry. I cannot wait to show you but today is all about partying. On my way to the pool. Tonight is the big red white and blue party. 🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸

Look how much demo they got done today. That was about 1500 ft.² of tile and wood. That floor is baby butt smooth, and we haven’t even done floor prep yet.
It was about 1200 ft.² of tile plus some of the wood.
It’s all ready for our Contractor to come in and start the remodel. New floors will go in at the end of the summer.
