Additionally, many of our local showrooms have samples of product from around the world to aid the selection and design process. While you can hire a designer at any time through the life of your home, here are some guidelines that may help you know when is the right time for you:
-- New Construction Projects: it is best to pull us is BEFORE slab has been poured, this ensures that any necessary components can be incorporated into the project from the get-go (vs. retrofitting later)
-- Window treatments: these typically take 4-5 weeks from final section to installation. (Helpful hint if you've just purchased a home and need blackout draperies in bedrooms. Those paper shades aren't going to make your house feel like a home any faster)
-- Furniture orders: usually take about 6-8 weeks to come in from the time of orders. We CAN rush select pieces however this route limits options and is generally exponentially more expensive than waiting.
