Got your hands on some fresh eggs from the farm? Here’s how to take care of them the right way so they stay safe and delicious:

✔️ Unwashed Eggs? Leave Them That Way (for storage!)
Farm-fresh eggs have a natural protective coating called the “bloom” that helps keep bacteria out. Store them unwashed in the fridge to keep them fresh longer.

✔️ Wash Before Use
If your eggs are unwashed, be sure to rinse them right before cracking them open. Use warm water and dry them off—simple as that!

✔️ Try the Float Test 🥚💧
Not sure if an egg is still good? Place it in a bowl of water:
• Sinks and lays flat = Super fresh 👍
• Stands upright = Still okay, use soon ⚠️
• Floats = Time to toss it 👎
