When the view becomes part of the palette.

Another example that sometimes what’s outside the window becomes just as important as what’s inside. With so much greenery surrounding this space, we kept the interior palette soft and natural, using muted tones and texture to complement the view rather than compete with it.

Turning an empty corner into somewhere you actually want to sit.

Instead of treating this corner as leftover space, we gave it a purpose. A comfortable chair, oversized ottoman, dedicated sconce, and artwork turned a once-empty spot into its own little place to sit, read, or play a game.

If there’s one room to go bold, make it the powder bath.

A smaller space is the perfect place to have a little more fun with the design. Here, we paired an all-over patterned wallpaper with a black vessel sink and natural wood vanity, letting each element hold its own without overwhelming the room.

Proof a hallway doesn't have to be an afterthought.

Even the spaces that simply get you from one room to another deserve their own design moment. Here, the checkerboard floors bring in pattern, the oversized pendants draw your eye down the hall, and the warm wood door breaks up the black and white palette.

One material, three applications.

Rather than limiting this stone to the countertops, we carried it throughout the kitchen, from the island to the perimeter countertops and up the range wall.

Using the same material in different ways creates continuity throughout the room while giving the natural movement of the stone a chance to become a design element of its own.

One of our favorite ways to add softness to a kitchen without covering up all that natural light. Café curtains give you the best of both worlds adding texture, warmth, and a little privacy while still letting the windows do their job. A small detail that completely changes the feel of the room.

How we made a large room feel intimate.

With high ceilings and large windows, the goal in this living room was to make the space feel warm and inviting without losing the impact of the architecture. Warm leather, natural wood, and layered patterns bring everything together and keep such a large space feeling comfortable and lived-in.

A big room doesn’t always need more, it just needs the right scale.
