Opened in 1978, The Needle Works is Austin, Texas’ oldest established store for fine, hand-painted needlepoint canvas as well as for the largest selection of threads in the Texas Hill Country. After 30 years in the same shopping center, we have moved into our own building as of July 1st. Built in the Craftsman style of architecture, the store is 3500 square feet.

Our registration for The Stitch Lab volume 2 is now open! Audra is an amazing teacher who explores different threads and stitches each month virtually with our learners and even did a live class at the shop this week! We have loved doing volume one this year and can’t wait to see what next year brings. If you have questions contact us or head to our website to sign up!

Our boot club sign up is now open! The club will consist of four canvases, all materials to stitch them, and the stitch guides! The club will start to ship out or be available for pick up in September and it’s basically like a little treat every month!
