Lakeshore Treasure Decor is a seller of unique, hand crafted driftwood works including nautical art and rustic decor. Peter Shelley is a local artist with a history in graphic design and ceramics. He has often done personal pieces but for the first time he is opening his workshop to outside buyers. He has been influenced by the natural elements of driftwood on his native shores of Lake Erie to make one-of-a-kind works of art. Some works of his focus on driftwood candle holders that bring a rustic, beach-side feel to any room in your home. Other works include whimsical sculptures inspired from historic sailing vessels. Most of these works are the perfect size to display on your tabletop or mantel. For more information message this page or email [email protected]. All driftwood pieces are diligently boiled, bleached and sun-dried. Driftwood elements are delicate and must be handled with care.

My beta model of the Port Clinton lighthouse is coming along well. I like to print a simple version, cropped to just what is necessary, in order to see how the pieces will fit together. I’ll then make any adjustments before I begin producing the final model.

My model of the Port Clinton lighthouse is ready for test printing. I primarily used on-line images to establish scale. I created some of the details as .svg files exported from Adobe Illustrator, and I used drone photography and an AI modeling software to create the stone base.

I am a lighthouse enthusiast and artist in Avon Lake, Ohio. I have recently began creating 3D models of my local Lake Erie lighthouses from original drawings, on-line images and my own drone footage. I have created models of the Lorain Harbor Light, as well as the Vermillion and Marblehead lighthouses. I am currently creating a model of the Port Clinton lighthouse. Which Ohio lighthouses should I developed models of next?
