Hey everyone! It's Karisa! I just wanted to jump on here and say how much I miss the store. I have so many memories with customers and great co-workers! A lot has changed since the store has been closed! I got married in 2016 to Austin, which some of you met during the crop weekends! Then on August 5, 2018, we had our beautiful baby girl, Ellee Jo. She has changed our lives so much and I couldn't imagine life without her! Since the store closed I have been extremely busy with life and have not scrapbooked or have created since. But I started playing and have decided to open an Etsy shop with some cute shirts, called One Babe Boutique. I'll list the link below. I hope you are able to check out my shop! I don't have a lot in my inventory yet but I'm getting there! I hope everyone is still creating and misses the store as much as I do! List your favorite memory from the store below!!

For all of our crafty friends, you'll be excited to know that Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House Is starting their monthly crop events again! Scrapbookers, stampers, and all sorts of crafters are welcome! It will be held on the Bakersfield Memorial Hospital campus.
We are kicking things off on Saturday, October 29 from 9am to 11pm. The cost for this full day of fun is $25, and for this inaugural event, will include lunch and dinner, as well as the opportunity to win some great door prizes! We will be working on our calendar for our 2017 crop events that day, so we really want your input. If you are interested in attending or want to be on the mailing list for future events, please send an email to [email protected] for details. All proceeds will benefit our Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House. Please share!

To all of you Simply Scrapbooks friends, we have some exciting news to share with you! Our beautiful Karisa is engaged! Her sweet boyfriend Austin, who you may have seen helping out at the store from time to time, proposed to her in front of the castle at Disneyland – the place where they had their first date two years ago! We are so happy for them ❤️
