🍒 Crispy Cherry Cheesecake Egg Rolls with Sweet Cream Filling
Ingredients
12 egg roll wrappers
1 cup cherry pie filling
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup heavy cream
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Directions
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
Place 2 tablespoons of the sweet cream filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper, followed by a spoonful of cherry pie filling.
Fold and roll the egg rolls tightly, sealing the edges with a little water.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Fry the egg rolls in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
