Fruit Salad 🍓🍍🍊
Ingredients:
1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
1 cup pineapple, cut into chunks
1 cup green grapes
1 cup red grapes
2 mandarin oranges, peeled and segmented
1 cup fresh pineapple chunks (or canned, drained)
1 tbsp honey (optional)
1 tbsp fresh lime juice (optional)
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Fruit:
Wash and dry all the fruits thoroughly.
Hull and halve the strawberries.
Cut the pineapple into bite-sized chunks if using fresh pineapple.
Peel and segment the mandarin oranges.
If desired, halve the grapes for easier eating, especially if serving children. 🍓🍍🍇
Combine the Fruits:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberries, pineapple, green grapes, red grapes, and mandarin oranges.
Gently toss the fruits together to ensure even distribution. 🌟
Add the Dressing (Optional):
If you prefer a sweeter salad with a touch of citrus, mix the honey and lime juice together in a small bowl.
Drizzle the honey-lime mixture over the fruit salad and gently toss to coat the fruits evenly. 🍯🍋
Serve:
Transfer the fruit salad to a serving bowl. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and added freshness if desired.
