📢 February's Focus: Volume & Form! ✏️🎨

This month in our in-person Drawing Fundamentals classes, we’re diving into Volume & Form—the skill that brings drawings to life and makes them look three-dimensional.

🔶 What is Volume & Form?
After learning basic shapes, artists learn how to turn those shapes into solid forms—cubes instead of squares, spheres instead of circles. This fundamental teaches how light, shadow, and perspective work together to create depth, mass, and realism. Mastering form helps drawings feel solid, believable, and grounded whether working from life or imagination.

📚 How class works:
• One fundamental is taught over two classes per month
• Light homework is assigned, with strong encouragement to draw outside of class
• The full cycle repeats every four months with new examples and challenges
• All skill levels welcome — jump in anytime, no semester required!

📅 In-person classes: Wednesdays, 3–5 PM
📍 Bakersfield area (93314)
👧🧑 Ages 8 and up
