Gintsugi: silver repair. Our client bought this beautiful tea cup in Kyoto, Japan. We are happy that we could repair one of their memories of their trip to Japan.

Light touch filing.

Gintsugi. Gin means silver, tsugi means joint in Japanese. Beautiful 13 inch plate with silver finish. It's difficult, but fun to sculpt the missing areas.

The last step of our Kintsugi is polishing gold with a fish tooth called Tai-ki-bo. So happy to finally get to this stage after working on these broken pieces for months.

Silver finish. It looks so chic.

Hand painted imari, candle holder. Brass finish.

We used ceramic stick grinding stones to not damage the beautiful luster. It took ages, but it was worth it.
