Mission accomplished at Navy Academy!

We recently wrapped up a major carpet tile installation for the U.S. Naval Academy! Long, high-traffic corridors demand a flooring system that can handle heavy daily use while maintaining crisp sightlines and seamless pattern alignment across every square foot.

From initial staging to final trim work, our team ensured every tile lined up with military precision—complemented perfectly by navy blue accents and resilient wall base detailing.

Honored to contribute to facilities that support our nation's future leaders!

Grand scale, intricate pattern matching, and zero room for error.

We recently wrapped up the main lobby carpet installation for Great Wolf Lodge! A resort’s main lobby is the heart of the guest experience—it takes constant, heavy foot traffic, rolling luggage, and daily family hustle while needing to look warm, inviting, and pristine.

Executing a large-scale, patterned carpet layout like this requires expert precision to ensure seamless pattern alignment, flush border drops, and long-lasting durability.
Grateful to the Great Wolf Lodge team for trusting Richstag Design team to bring this iconic space to life!

Part 2 of our current project is officially underway. With proper acclimation and our premium Powerhold underlayment locked in, our installation team is bringing these long corridors to life.

Look at those clean sightlines and crisp border details—that’s the difference precision layout makes.

What you don't see under your floor matters just as much as what you do!

Here at Richstag Design, we never cut corners on subfloor prep—because protecting your investment and your full manufacturer warranty starts long before the final flooring is laid:

- Step 1: Early Delivery & Acclimation:
We deliver materials a full week prior to installation so everything properly acclimates to the space's temperature and humidity, preventing post-install shrinking, expansion, and seam failure.

- Step 2: Certified Premium Underlayment:
Many contractors try to "save cost" using luan, but major manufacturers like Tarkett won't warranty over it. We go the extra step and expense to install certified Powerhold PH-845 hardwood underlayment and manufacture approved adhesives so our clients get maximum quality and 100% warranted peace of mind.

We know that doing it right the first time is not fixing shortcuts later.

On-site and preparing for something major.

Today’s walkthrough took us through the halls of the United States Naval Academy as we prep for an upcoming flooring installation. Projects with elite institutions require meticulous planning, exact logistics, and a commitment to quality that stands up to heavy daily use.

Every great installation starts long before the first tile or carpet plank is laid—it starts with a detailed plan on the ground.

We’re honored to bring the Richstag standard to such an iconic location!

Aesthetics meet smart facility management.

High-traffic elevator lobbies take a beating from foot traffic every single day. That's why we opted for premium modular carpet tiles for this corridor.

Not only does the geometric layout look incredibly crisp, but it also gives property managers long-term peace of mind.
Spills, heavy stains, or localized wear? No need to replace a massive roll of wall-to-wall broadloom carpet. You simply swap out the specific tiles in minutes with zero operational downtime.
