The painting projects continue as the countdown to my daughters graduation party in a few weeks ... we painted the garage in graphite by Benjamin Moore, I was doubted by everyone per usual, with them then saying " I wasn't sure but wow it looks fantastic"
when will they trust me?

If we had a reality home improvement show it would he called "unfinished projects" it looks great on the surface but if you look real close you will see unfinished details, they slowly drive me insane but I am a fairly patient person and eventually we get it done ... usually when we have a deadline .. and we have a graduation party coming up so .. its game on ..finally my chimney will match the rest of the house and my garage is getting painted etc... etc.. and when its finally done we will probably sell it and start this madness somewhere else .. just kidding .. I am too tired 😂

My friend sent me a picture of 15-year-old me yesterday, which I had never seen. It always hits different when you see a photo from the past you never saw before; we know the ones we've seen for decades are familiar images etched in our minds. But then you get one and it's a wild card. The memories flood in. It was my freshman banquet; my dress was vintage. I went with a boy with a great smile and great hair, but I can't remember his name. I'm sure I felt uncomfortable having my picture taken, as I still do. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself I was beautiful, talented, and worthy of love, and so brave to be authentic, but that's not how life goes. So I tell my beautiful daughter and hope she listens ❤️
