Today I used my day off from my primary job to focus on productive work and make progress on ongoing projects.

One of the key accomplishments today was building this tote storage rack, which serves as the first phase of a larger organization system I’m currently developing for the garage space.

This rack is designed to improve storage efficiency, maximize unused space, and create a more functional layout for both household and workshop needs.

This is only step one of the project. More improvements and expansions are planned for the area this will go in. Stay tuned for the next phase.

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted or taken on any new projects, but I’ve been back out in the shop getting things cleaned up and organized.

With Mother’s Day and Father’s Day coming up, I’ve been thinking about doing a raffle. I currently have a Minnesota Twins-themed wooden flag finished and ready for a new home.

If I move forward with it, entries would be $5 each.

Last weekend, someone randomly asked Haley if we wanted in on their carnival action. At first, Haley was all "hmm", but then she just went for it and said "Let's do it". I had to think fast and whip up some projects in a flash. And, well, this is what we ended up with. But don't worry, the next one will be a real showstopper, haha.

Although the process was not without its difficulties, including mistakes and necessary adjustments, I am ultimately satisfied with the outcome. My next decision concerns the finish.
