Why do I post?

Because I see something beautiful almost everywhere—and apparently, I believe everyone else needs to see it too. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m Denean. I’m 56, with 57 coming confidently around the corner. I’m married to Anthony—better known around here as Mr. A—the husband I adore and the absolute love of my life. I’m also a grandmother to six grandchildren who have my whole heart. Yes, six. 💗

A few other things you should know: I can usually be found in a pom-pom hat—summer or winter. Apparently, I don’t believe pom-poms have a season. I love an accent chair with personality and pizza that some people might call burnt. I call it done correctly.

I’m also funny. This occasionally surprises people, which I find both confusing and a little offensive. 😂

I notice details. I notice when something feels off. I notice when a process doesn’t make sense. And yes, I am particular—but I’m usually right. 😊

I’m also petrified of everything that hops or crawls. Yes, I took that picture—but fear and a good zoom lens can coexist. 😂

For years, I poured my creativity into designing weddings and homes. I no longer do either, but the part of me that needs to create didn’t simply pack up and leave. She needed somewhere new to go.

That became Curated by Denean—a place for the colors, spaces, travel, beautiful details, and everyday moments that catch my eye. It gives me a reason to pause, look a little closer, and share what I see.

So, why do I post?

To keep creating. To keep noticing. And because life is far too beautiful not to document—even if Mr. A occasionally has to wait while I photograph another chair. 😉
