Please keep the Bennett family in prayer. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Mark my friend and event DJ/Photographer, buried his dad yesterday.
Mr Skip was not only the patriach, husband, father, grand father, great grand father, mentor and friend to so many. Mr. Bennett was an Icon in the Baltimore Caribbean community.
Over 30 years ago when I became of age Blue Caribbean Bar & Lounge was one of the places I would hangout. The owner Mr Charles ( recently deceased) and a few middle aged gentlemen would be there talking and hanging out. One always stood out, not because we would have small conversations here and there but he was tall and always well dressed. A distinguished gentleman. (Yes!!!his🤴🏾crown will have an extra diamonds “Best Dressed Gentleman.”)
Fast forward maybe 10 years or so I was formally introduced to him as “ Marks Dad”. I got to know “Skip” as I frequented the parties and hang out and talk to him in the barbershop.
I always admired his support for family and community events. Whenever attending a “Big People party” or an event Mark was participating Mr. Skip is there. As mentioned at the service “Even as his health failing he pushed himself, and was there!!
He will be sorely missed……
Losing a parent is not easy!! We hold on to memories. They never leave us🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

We stand with you thru this time. ❤️❤️
