Happy Employee Ownership Month! Each October, companies around the world celebrate Employee Ownership Month. It’s the perfect time to recognize the people who make our company successful and honor the identity that sets us apart. Fishman Flooring Solutions has proudly been 100% employee-owned since 2012, and we are thrilled by its impacts on our company over the years.

Our journey toward 100% employee ownership started with the launch of Fishman's Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) in 2003. Fishman’s ESOP provides a unique opportunity for employees to acquire a meaningful stake in the company at no direct cost to them. We had a blast at the 2026 W.J. Grosvenor Golf Outing at the Lake of Isles Golf Club! The attendees included employees, vendors, customers, and other guests. Attendees enjoyed a beautiful day of golf followed by a prize ceremony. Trips like these are an excellent opportunity to relax, celebrate, and build relationships, and we look forward to the next trip.

We are so thankful to everyone who attended and organized this outing.

Here's a look at our Fourth Annual Vendor Day, hosted by the Dayton branch! Fishman employees collaborated with over a dozen vendor-partners to run a trade show, complete with a free food, product giveaways, and demonstrations. We are so thankful for everyone who took part in organizing this event, as well as our loyal and supportive customers.

Providing a space for flooring professionals to network and learn is a top priority for us, and we look forward to continue hosting branch events. Stay tuned for more events like this in the future!

Today's Employee Spotlight shines on Josh Gardner, Territory Business Manager based in Savannah, Georgia! Josh has been with Fishman for 7.5 years and also serves as the primary organizer of Fishman's annual golf outing.

Josh spends much of his time working directly with customers — whether that means helping solve a problem, providing product training, tracking down an answer, or simply making sure they have what they need to be successful. The relationships he's built over the years are one of his favorite parts of the job, and he takes pride in becoming a trusted resource his customers know they can call.

He enjoys the variety and flexibility of his role and looks forward to continuing to grow those relationships, develop new business, and take on new challenges. Josh believes the flooring industry is ultimately a people business, and that success comes down to working hard, taking care of people, following through, and never assuming you know everything there is to know.

Outside of work, Josh is a proud father of twin daughters and enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, cooking, traveling, and tackling home improvement projects. Thank you, Josh, for all you do!
