Yesterday, for Ben's birthday, Liara wanted to make him a crayon holder for his desk like the one her cousin made for her. But she also wanted to practice her scissor skills 😂 So I recycled a baby food container and she glued hand cut "shapes" all over. Added a few Star Wars stickers we had laying around... actually looks a lot cooler than I expected! And yes, she thought it'd be cool to put Princess Leia on the bottom 😎

Since becoming a stay-at-home mom in November, I've been focusing a lot of my creative energy into activities, crafts, and learning opportunities for my kiddos! Today we celebrated Ground Hog Day (or Hedgehog Day according to my daughter)! We found a youtube storytime, themed worksheets, and made our own ground hogs with shadows!

Oh hi again! I'm still here! What have I been up to lately? I just finally gifted my last homemade Christmas present and thought I would share! A custom Family sign with all the family surnames, a custom Star Wars theme sign for the Smolson family, and my first attempt at wall decals for my niece. My niece was very excited to arrange and place all the decals herself, with just a little help ;) Made-to-order custom family signs and wall decals coming to my Etsy shop soon!
