I recently acquired this gorgeous velvet tomato pincushion. A steady companion to its owner through years of care, repair, and creativity.

Tomato pincushions are simple and ubiquitous, yet entirely personal and unique. The world wide web has plenty of origin story lore on repeat, from werewolf deterrent to luck magnet, but citations are scarce!
