Please share to help us get the word out!

In an effort to support families and fire departments affected by recent events in Searsmont, we have joined forces to make a positive impact.

The materials for the planter were kindly provided by Brookside Cedar Sawmill, and it was built by our team. Sprague's Nursery & Garden Center is hosting the raffle, with ticket donated by Jiffy Print, Inc. The planter is currently on display at Sprague's Nursery, and tickets can be purchased there for $5. The proceeds will go directly to the Town of Searsmont's Robbins Lumber Fire Relief Fund.

A winner will be randomly selected on June 28th and contacted so we may set up delivery arrangements.

While yes we did work in conjunction with our partners to hold the ongoing raffle for the four tier planter, We know many of you have been wondering what we've been up to. You've not really seen a lot of building going on from us for new items. Well here is why. We've been working on our old workshop.

The workshop itself was originally built around 1920. It originally had some k**b and tube wiring, but somewhere along the line (before us) most of that was replaced, but they still used the old screw in type fuse box. Someone even added onto the back of the garage a negative pitch roof without proper support. So when we arrived she was in very rough shape, but still had a great sole. The power was still working, and we were able to use it sparingly. Then we started to work on the shop slowly, and the first step was to cut the power, and remove the old fuse box.

Now fast forward to today, and we have new framed walls inside. A new correctly pitched roof on the back with proper support. A new wall box for the original exhaust fan (that is still in great working condition). We replaced some of the bad sections of the outer walls, and put new shingles on. We did some new framing on the front to help support new doors that are being built by us in the future. And the best news of all is we will have actual power back in the shop by the end of the month. Soon we will get focused back on actually making things again. As a small but growing small business we would like to say thank you for your understanding, your patience, and your support. 🐺

This four tier ladder planter stands about 6' 8" tall, and is about 2' 10" wide. When it is set up it is about 2' deep. Each planter holds about .6 cubic feet of dirt, and is removable for accessibility, or easy storing when not in use. We are all pleased to offer this as a raffle to raise money for the Robbins Lumber Fire Relief Fund set up by the town of Searsmont to help as many as possible. It is now set up at Sprague's Nursery and Garden Center for you to view, and tickets can be bought there for $5 each. Help us help everyone we can that was affected by this fire.

And here is the final reveal! This is a four tier ladder planter. It stands about 6' 8" tall, and is about 2' 10" wide. When it is set up it is about 2' deep. Each planter holds about .6 cubic feet of dirt, and is removable for accessibility, or easy storing when not in use. Brookside Cedar Sawmill donated the cedar wood used for this special build.

Later this morning we will unveil everything about what we and others are doing, where you can find this, how you can participate, and where all the proceeds will go. We are happy we could be a part of this, and hope everything will do some much needed good.

While it has been a busy day with a bit of running around for this charity project, the pieces are coming together.

Just think each of these boxes will hold .6 cubic feet of dirt. Still we have a lot of work to do before for delivery tomorrow. Stay tuned for more updates.
