Some people who've not seen our bat houses up close have asked what is the size difference between our smaller bat houses (Boop & Nala the Hut), and our large ones (Abby & Rufus). Well.... See for yourselves.

On the left is a Nala the Hut house, and one the right is a Abby house. Heck of a difference. Each have their place, and quantity of bats they can hold. So choose wisely.

Say hello to our Nala the Hut house. Named after one of our cats, this house is our small dual chamber bat house. Made for any bat that can fit a 3/4" opening, and it will house between 50-75 bats. In New England all of the bats in this category are either endangered, or threatened in one or more states. This is why we focus on them specifically.

So if you want to help them, are looking for a way to give them a home while keeping them out of yours, or maybe would like some natural fly pest control, then check us out. We have four different size bat house to help you.

Four more "Abby" bat houses ready to be picked up tomorrow afternoon. These will help a local company to relocate up to 400 bats right here in the greater Bangor area.

We build our bat houses to help our smallest bat friends here in New England, by specifically building them with a 3/4" opening. All bats like the Eastern Red, and Northern Long-eared bats are considered endangered or threatened. They need our help, and they help us in return with insects population control.

It may look like wooden corduroy, but this is the start of some more bat houses. We got an order for four of our Abby bat houses Friday. In August, these will be used by a company to help with the relocation of hundreds of bats right here in Bangor.

All our houses are made with a 3/4-in opening. That opening is just the right size for all the bats that are considered endangered, or threatened here in the state of Maine. Maine. That's why we chose the size we did. Hopefully the bats that are being relocated will find these very comfy and warm. 🐺🦇

We've been working hard over the last week. This is just one of the projects we're working on for a local nursery. Made completely from cedar, and has a environmentally safe sealer applied. I'm sure the customer will be happy to see this tomorrow.

Good morning to one and all. 🐺

While there is still much to do to this circa 1920's shop, we are happy to announce we back up and running after a lot of updates have been completed.

we've already been plaining some rough cedar that we received, and will be plaining more rough cut wood of other species over the next couple of weeks for a few jobs we have.

Well as you can see we are still working hard on this old 1920s workshop. We just finished the new cedar siding door, and we're looking forward to getting the electrical done, hopefully next week. 🐺

However, that does not mean that we didn't forget about the raffle. Roughly around 8:00 a.m. tomorrow on the New Sprague's Nursery & Garden Center page we will be picking the winner. We wish everyone that entered. Good luck!. 🐺
