On today's addition of "What do I DO with THIS?

Super stoked about this "vintage" working 1960s Aristette Queen Stand Hair Dryer. Its beautiful turquoise color and perfect patina are a testament to endurance through change.

But since I don't have the need for a stand hair dryer, so I had my handy dandy husband turn it into a retro lamp.

Let's talk unicorns 🦄. I don't mean actual unicorns. More of a "vintage" unicorn, something you have been hunting for awhile. For me it was a bohemian style arched wicker shelf. Popular in the 70's, and has made its way back around. Thats the beauty of design and decor. Whenever someone asks me how I decide how I am going to style or decorate a room, I always say "surround yourself with what YOU Love". You are decorating your space for you.

She even puts the fancy wax seal on there! Sending cards is still a kind gesture, and we can definitely use those right now. 🎄❤️🎄

Purchased these beauties today. Six 6.5 Inch Fenton Madonna Inn Wild Rose Goblets LG Wright Ruby Red!

They are so pretty! I have a soft spot for vintage dishes. I enjoy using them during the holidays, they definitely offer some uniqueness to your table setting.

A little history----

The 6.5-inch Fenton "Wild Rose" (or "Madonna Rose") goblets in Ruby Red are collectible pieces from the famous Madonna Inn, made in the 1970s by L.G. Wright using molds often associated with Fenton craftsmanship, featuring the inn's iconic rose design inspired by its carpets, and representing a key part of the inn's colorful history alongside other producers like Viking and Mosser.

Key Aspects of Their History:
Origin & Inspiration: The goblets were created for the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, CA, whose owner commissioned custom glassware to match their signature rose-themed carpets (designed by a former Disney artist).

The "Flat Rose" Design: In the mid-1970s, L.G. Wright started producing these goblets, introducing the "Flat Rose" pattern, a design distinct from later versions.

Ruby Red Color: The vibrant ruby red (or amberina red) color is a popular vintage version.

Legacy: The molds were later acquired by Mosser Glass, who continues to produce goblets for the Inn.

Progress in the attic (guest space). Got the wood accent up on the ceiling, and painted the very dated window frame! It's always amazing to me what some paint will do! Plus my multi-talented husband can push a vacuum just as well as swing a hammer! 💪❤️ We are getting closer to "dressing" the space!
