Just a peek at Dancing Leaf Farm before the heat sets in and things wilt. The garden has growing pains and is supplying me with fresh veggies but my main love are the flowers. I planted soooo many zinnias (maybe 1000!) and they’ll probably all bloom when I’m away. The farm is full with animals too. There’s my 2 cats, Marmelade and Clementine, but 3 strays have moved in (Gypsy, Pippen and Breezy). My adorable pup, Cisco, the 9 chickens, (Blanche, Maybelle, Bluebell, Sylvia, Gladys, Beatrice, Coco, Violet and Hazel. The sheep (Sunny Bunny and Delilah) are grazing next door while I have temporary custody of 3 goats (Apollo, Buck and Findlay) and 2 incredible Scottish Highland cattle, Harley and Quinn). Phew, I think that’s all except for the annoying 3 raccoons that I will not name. Hope your summer is enjoyable. Cheers!

I’m going to LA! To have a show in a gallery April 16-17 (then by appointment for a month). My son, Garrett and his business partner Rob, have created a clever video game, Sheeps (about counting sheep).Their friend Nick, is the producer of the sound for the game. Nick is the owner of the gallery Smartdumb where the video game will be debuting, where Nick will be performing live and where I will have my Lambscapes. My paintings will range from 3”x4” to 34” x34”. If you’re in the area stop on by. It should be fun!

Flew out to Phoenix to celebrate my mom’s 90th. She’s a queen!! So adorable and lovable. My brothers and two grandsons came and she loved every minute! Christian surprised me by flying in at the last minute!! We partied, had a spa day, ate great food, had a party at her residence (30 friends came for cake and ice cream). So lucky to have her in my life. Keep it up Darlene!!💕💕💕

Great weekend in Cannan Valley, West Virginia. Cross country skied at White Grass Touring Center, a funky, fun vibe, great cafe/warming hut, live music, local beer and miles and miles of groomed trails. The place was jammed on Saturday because of perfect weather (and President’s weekend ). The staff is super friendly even in dealing with at least 1000 people. Barb, John, Marie and Scott and I had the best time. Highly recommend White Grass.

As soon as January hits I have the urge to organize every closet, drawer, art supplies, paint, sand desk tops, oil all the furniture, and tackle the biggest mess of all…my dye space. When preparing for a show things get out of control, messes pile onto messes. Keeping it real here. So I’m starting the year off purging, cleaning and putting some order back into my workspace. Not quite there but now I can at least see my tables. What do you do to organize?
