I just love this. If I didn’t have a ton of stuff to make to restock the farm stand I’d be there.
This is one technique I haven’t done before.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make a rag quilt/project? Now's your chance! I just added a class to the calendar -- a rag table runner (or small throw)! I've also made it easier to find and register for classes. Just head to smalltownstitchesga.com, click on "View Classes & Register" and it'll take you to the page of classes, complete with information and example photos.
Here are the details:
🎄 Rag Table Runner (or small throw) Workshop! 🧵Get ready for the holidays with a fun, beginner-friendly sewing class at Small Town Stitches! You'll create a festive patchwork table runner using soft flannel and batting. Learn the basics of rag quilting while making a handmade decoration for your holiday table!✨ Class Fee: $60 — All Materials Included!🎄 Finished size: Approximately 12" × 40"🧵 Class length: 3 hours✂️ Basic sewing machine experience recommended. We'll complete the sewing during class, and you'll take your runner home to clip the seams and create that cozy, fluffy rag quilt finish. Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot! Also, if you don't want to make a table runner, you can choose to create something else like a small throw. If you want to purchase additional fabric to make a larger throw, you can do that as well ( you may have to complete it at home, though).
