I’ve been in a funk this week, and honestly last week too. Everything feels like it takes too long, I don’t have any time to do things, and I’m just tired. Hoping the next few days that I have off will help! I’m still hoping to get my horse pattern round up live on YouTube this week! In the meantime, here’s one of my recent custom horses. Fellow Mustang owner, so beat and dear to my heart. ♥️

I am in awe of putting these flowers into bouquets!!! This one is so amazing I just had to share. Lindsay at The Petal Parlor and I matched up different flowers and fillers today for bouquets in preparation for Potato Days!

This one and a few others will be available along with lots of my other plushies and all the Petal Parlor goodness in the shop tomorrow during the festivities!

Ya’ll. YA’LL. The cutest squirrel pattern and woodland bundle is dropping today from Sarah | Crochet Plushies ♡ - I’m obsessed! This pattern is SO cute and works up the perfect size. Sarah has done it again…it’s perfection! I’ll be grabbing more of her patterns today, will you??

The Itty Kittens are ✨ L I V E ✨ from Abby Blue Pawprint Crochet

This pattern is sooooooooo good and they are truly adorable! This is definitely going to be one of my staples this fall. They come with accessories like a headband, ruffle collar, bonnet, mouse toy, and a food bowl too.

I’ll be adding custom options to my Etsy hopefully soon, but if anyone needs a little kitty in their life before that, let me know!

18 years ago, I started working at an eclectic little coffee shop in my college hometown called River Rock Coffee & Tea - it was fun, it was hard work, and it was the community that I needed. My work at River Rock ended in 2011 when I left for veterinary school, but was a formative period in my life and has continued to have an impact even all these years later. Today, I stopped in to their Mankato, MN location and while I have never been to that shop, it was a little like coming home. ❤️ Thank you, River Rock, for being such an amazing community and for fueling me both in the past and today.

While this is primarily a crochet account, I am also a veterinarian and a concerned and disgusted citizen. What is happening is NOT OK.

I am honored to have participated in this outreach with a group of my amazing veterinary colleagues and will continue to do so. Thank you to all my colleagues-it is an honor to be in community with you. And special thanks to Emily Singler, VMD for spearheading the group and making sure this happened!

I couldn’t wait a single moment for this kiddo to have a payment place in my feed…I’m speechless! This pattern, the eyes, the yarn…swoon. She’s got a spot in my top 10 makes all time…do you agree? She also fits pretty perfectly in a little’s arms (peek the last picture) 🥺

I had a lovely weekend away with my 3 best friends from my undergrad days (let’s not talk about how long ago that was 😳).

We laughed, we cried, we caught up, and generally had a refreshing and much needed catch up after 4 years without us all being together.

I did crochet in our down time and one thing I was able to finish is Eddie the Elephant by for the July event hosted by . He’s so cute!! Official photos will be taken when I am back home, but I had to share right when I finished him!
