Happy August! We are SO excited for today, August 1st. On this day, 24 years ago, we opened our doors and let the love of painting pottery slide out into the Poconos! We have seen and experienced so many wonderful moments, memories and made SO many friends. We have watched young children grow and dream and bring in their own children to carry on that experience and make more memories. We have been apart of countless lives of people who live in and who have visited the Poconos from around the world. This has been an amazing and unforgettable journey. One that we love sharing with all of you. We share our studio, our own side hobbies, the growth of our family and our life moments with you all. You are not just customers... you are friends... some life-long and some for a short moment. Each one is held with care.
Thank you for being apart of our business and our family. We have had a wonderful 24 years... let's make the 25th a fantastic one.

Are you proud of a specific piece of pottery you painted recently? (Since last August recently) Are you a Monroe County resident? If you said YES to both of these, YOU can enter that amazing piece of pottery into the West End Fair this year!!!

The West End Fair is August 23-29th 2026. Drop off of entries is Saturday August 22nd 9am-5pm at the West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert PA.
Pick up your items and ribbons on Sun. August 30th from 10-12pm.

How to enter? We made it east for you. See the example picture of how to fill out the entry form. 1 example of the children's (18 and under) and 1 example of an adult entry. 1 entry per person for the ceramics-painted/glazed category. But you can enter many other arts or home goods. See the exhibit book on the WEF website for ALL the awesome categories.

We have entry forms in the studio for you or you can print one from the WEF website.

It is $10 per person to enter your items into the exhibits... not per item. So, send a $10 check (they are still old school) made out to The West End Fairgrounds to the address on the entry form before July 23rd!!

So, if you are artsy like we are, you will enjoy seeing your items on display and maybe get a ribbon or even a few $! We hope to see some familiar pieces this year!! GOOD LUCK!

It's Memorial Day weekend and SO close to the end of the school year!! Take a break from studying and get some art therapy in... painting pottery.

Celebrate the lives and memories of the family and friends we have lost in the military this weekend... with Poppies. I have some Poppy inspiration pictures for you.

Why poppies? Poppy seeds stay in the ground and wait for the soil to be disturbed. So, when there is a battle in a field... poppies will grow from the disruption... honoring the lives lost.

Honor those we've lost and share happy memories on the Memorial weekend.
