After many wonderful years, we have made the decision to close the doors of the Dixon Smith Interiors showroom and begin a new chapter.
This decision comes with many emotions, but above all, with an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
Throughout the years, we have had the privilege of working with incredibly talented designers, wonderful clients, trusted vendors, craftsmen, artists, and friends. Together, we have selected countless fabrics, rearranged more furniture than we could ever count, searched for just the right antique, debated colors and finishes, and ultimately created beautiful spaces that became part of people's homes and lives.
While we are looking forward to whatever our next chapter may bring, saying goodbye to this one is certainly bittersweet. Dixon Smith Interiors has been much more than a family business to us. It has been a place filled with creativity, friendship, laughter, beautiful things, and so many wonderful memories. We could not have had the journey we had without all of you.
While the Dixon Smith Interiors showroom will be closing, the design work will continue.
Our talented designers, Joel Fazende and Mary Caroline Dansky, will continue their careers in interior design through an exciting new joint venture with more details to come. We could not be more pleased that the relationships, creativity, and beautiful work they have built over the years will continue beyond Dixon Smith Interiors.
We wholeheartedly encourage Joel and Mary Caroline's current clients to continue working with them, and we hope that all of you who have shopped with us, worked with us, or simply come to know and trust our team over the years will consider them for your future design needs.
Both Joel and Mary Caroline have been an important part of Dixon Smith Interiors, and we are incredibly proud of the work they have done and the relationships they have developed. We look forward to seeing what comes next for each of them and hope you will continue to support them as they begin their own new chapters.

In the coming weeks, we will share additional information about the closing of our showroom, including details about our “Closing the Doors” Sale, which will be occurring in November. Until then, all items on the floor will be 35% off.
For now, we simply want to say thank you.
Thank you for your friendship, your loyalty, your trust, and for allowing us to do what we have loved for so many years. Most of all, thank you for being part of the story of Dixon Smith Interiors.
